Billy C Pilgreen

Visitation for Billy Pilgreen, 89, will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 9:00 until 10:30 am. Grave side services will follow at Forest Park West. Billy was born on July 12, 1929 in Marion, LA to C.W. Pilgreen and Leola Booth Pilgreen and passed away on August 18, 2018. He served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War and retired from Chevy Land after 35 plus years of service. Billy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bobbie Welch. Also preceded in death is his wife of 58 years, Eloise. Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Tina Whisenhunt; sons, Mike Pilgreen and wife Kay, Mark Pilgreen and wife Carol, Rick Pilgreen and wife Angela; brothers, Jimmy Pilgreen and John Pilgreen; grandchildren; Michael Pilgreen, Jennifer and husband RJ Middleton, Matt and wife Rebecca Pilgreen, Heather and husband Ben Dennis, Jared Pilgreen and fiancé Amber Rossett, Allison and husband Chris Hall, Meagan and husband Preston Story, Seth Whisenhunt and 11 great grandchildren. Honoring Billy as pallbearers will be Michael Pilgreen, Matt Pilgreen, Jared Pilgreen, Seth Whisenhunt, RJ Middleton, Ben Dennis and Kyle Greemon. Family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Garden Park, Christus Hospice and special friends Steve Robinson and Paul Bourne.
