Celebration of life for Billy will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Rev. Brent Sholmire will be officiating with Rev. McKee Williams, of Stonewall Methodist Church, assisting. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
Billy's loves were his wife Wanda, son, grandchildren, hunting, fishing, golfing, as well as 50s and 60s music. He enjoyed having cookouts at his "Kocomo" for friends and family. He always had a joke and stories to share with everyone. He especially enjoyed going to the hunting camp with Jay to be with all the guys to tell tall tales.
Billy is survived by his wife, Wanda; son, Scott Hendricks and wife Cynthia; his dog, Maddie; grandchildren, Keith and Lauren Hendricks; Hannah and Clayton Simmons; great-grandchildren, Malorie, Jay, Colt and Leah (his little princess); brother, Don and Gwen Hendricks; sister, Judy and Kenneth Auger; special friends, Lesa, Meredith, Kate, and Garret; In-laws, Jerry and Charlotte, Cathy and Victor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Billy's motto was to work hard and play harder, and he lived up to that.
He will be missed by his family and many friends. Wanda and Family would like to thank everyone for their kindness, thoughts and prayers and especially to our Rose-Neath Family.
