Billy Freeman

Billy David Freeman was born November 9, 1955 in Jacksonville, Texas to Billy L. and Mary B. Freeman and passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Billy grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 1974. He started his career at Wal-Mart and then went to Bewley’s Furniture. He had a love for music, especially Elvis Presley, classic rock and country music. Billy was very artistic and intended on pursuing painting.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Georgia Barrett. His memory is survived by his brother, John A. Freeman and wife, Mary A. Lowery and numerous nieces and other family members.
