Billie Jo Wren Hay

Billie Jo Wren Hay, 92, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on March 4, 1932, in Alto, Louisiana to Willis and Hallie Wren.
 
She was raised in Shreveport and lived in the Grawood and Springridge areas of Keithville most of her adult life. She loved the Lord and never missed an opportunity to share His goodness with everyone she met. She enjoyed working in her flowerbeds and taking care of her dachshund granddog, Lily.
 
Billie is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Hallie Wren; husband, Horace Gene Hay; brothers, Jackie, Charles, Jimmy and JD Wren; sisters, Betty Jean Hunt, and Mary Nell Jackson. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Diane Hay Bolen and her beloved granddog, Lily.
 
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
 
The family would like to express a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Shreveport Manor Nursing Home for all the care and compassion given to Billie.
 
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Grawood Baptist Church of Keithville in Billie’s name.
