Billie Jean Alexander

Billie Jean Moore Alexander, 90, passed away September 22, 2026, in League City, Texas. She was born June 10, 1936, in Atlanta, Texas, to Dewey and Lola Mae Moore.

Billie was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her throughout her life. She loved sharing the Gospel, praying with others, serving through her church and nursing-home ministry, cooking for family and friends, and traveling.

She is survived by her children, Gene Phillips (Melissa), Glenn Phillips (Denise), John Alexander (Cindy), Glenda Horne (Jason), and Aline Donnelly (Nick); 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, with two more expected; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Melvin Green, husband Glen Alexander; children Lance, Madeline, and Melanie Alexander; and grandson Paul Cramer.

Visitation will be October 2 from 5–8 p.m. at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield. Services will be October 3 at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial at Mount Zion Cemetery.
