Billie Joe Haynes

Funeral services for Billie Joe Haynes, 91, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Roger Haynes and Doyle Ardoin officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the funeral home. Billie was born February 27, 1928 in Wichita Falls, TX and went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2019. He worked as a lineman and electrician for over 40 years. He was a great man of God. Billie was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ivy Haynes; wife, Eleanor Arnold Haynes; and his siblings. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Roger Haynes and wife Pamela; daughter, Pam Jewell and husband Terry; his special friend, Claudine Brown; grandchildren, Phillip Hooker, Billy Hooker (Mandy), Coleman Haynes (Megan), Dillon Haynes (Danna); great-grandchildren, Christian Robinson, Sydney Robinson, Logan Hooker, Hailey Hooker, Connor Haynes, Jagger Haynes, Gabrielle Haynes, Parker Claire Haynes, and one on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Honoring Billie as pallbearers will be Phillip Hooker, Billy Hooker, Coleman Haynes, Dillon Haynes, Logan Hooker, and Christian Robinson. The family would like to give a special thanks to Claudine Brown, Debbie Underwood, and the staff of Southern Care Hospice.
