Graveside services honoring the life of Billy G. Bray will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Brother Jim Phaup officiated the service.
Billy G. Bray was born February 4, 1934 in Zwolle, Louisiana to Kelsie Cade Bray, Sr. and Leatha Windham Bray and passed away peacefully on November 12, 2019 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Bill received an Associate of Agriculture from Eastern Oklahoma State College. He served his country during the Korean War and later became a successful entrepreneur. He loved the great outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 51 years, Ida Bray; son, Bryan Bray and brother, Kelsie Bray, Jr.
Bill is survived by son, Michael Bray; daughters, Cheryl Collins and Bonnie Rothenberger; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Kimmell and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring Bill as pallbearers will be Michael Bray, Christopher Bray, Jonathan Bray, Andrew Rothenberger, Joshua Rothenberger and Matthew Rothenberger.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123 in honor of his son, Bryan Bray.
