Funeral services honoring Mrs. Beverly Wilhite will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Stephen Beard officiating. The burial will follow at Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia on Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Beverly was born July 23, 1944, to Raymond and Lizzettie Greer Boatner in Athens, Louisiana. She entered into rest on April 30, 2026, in Ruston, Louisiana with her loving family by her side. Beverly worked as an office manager for several years for Dr. Belue. She loved dancing, fishing, and scrapbooking. Beverly was a talented decorator and enjoyed helping family and friends plan and set up for weddings, church gatherings, or any occasion. Beverly was a huge fan of Elvis and had an ample collection of memorabilia. Her greatest love in life was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lizzettie Boatner, husbands, Omar Valentine and Delma Wilhite, brother Billy Boatner, and sister Sheila Boyd.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons; Mitchell Valentine, Monty Valentine, and Shannon Wilhite and wife Wanda, grandchildren; Landon Wilhite, Tara Valentine, and Dustin Valentine, great grandchildren; Alyssa and Hunter White, and Brooklyn Valentine, sister-in-law Julia Boatner, and by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Honoring Beverly as pallbearers will be Robert Youngblood, David Whiston, Keith Watkins, Andy Sherrill, Collin Sherrill, and Jeff Monk. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Monk, Billie Moore, Johnny Ackel, Paul Carpenter, and Carroll Spurlock.
