SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Beulah Mae Cryer, 95, will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Chaplain Alan Prater. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the funeral home. Beulah was born on June 28, 1919 in Arkansas and passed away on July 17, 2014. She was a resident of Shreveport, LA and a beautician for 57 years, retiring at the age of 88. She was also an artist. Beulah was a member of Kingston Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Coy Underwood; mother, Myrtle Nash Underwood; daughters, Peggy Kyle and Merryl Presson; grandchildren, Jimmy Twitty and Kim Hale. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert Knott; grandchildren, Stephanie Crowder and husband, Tim, Ted Glover and wife, Toni, Greg Glover and wife, Sherie, Geoffrey Glover, Vikki Glover, Eddie Twitty, Mary Akin and husband, Payt Akin, Brian Knott, and Kevin Knott; 28 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Eddie Twitty, Ted Glover, Tim Crowder, and Geoffrey Glover. Beulah's family expresses their appreciation to Grace Home for their compassionate care.
