Funeral services for celebrating the life of Bettye Nell Walker Cox will be held Saturday, May 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Jeff Flenniken and Bor. Waylon Cloud officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. Bettye was born July 14, 1933, in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest June 1, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Cox, Sr., parents, B.A. and Thalia Walker, specia brother-in-law Bill Cox, niece, Charlotte Bouilion and her husband Joey. She is survived by her sons, Donnie Cox, Jr. and wife Lynn, Terry Cox and wife Cissy, and Doug Cox and wife Athyl; special brother-in-law, Pierce Nicholson; special sister-in-law, Annie Bell Walker; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brian Walker, Van Cox, Andrew Lincoln, Daniel Lincoln, Tim Cox, Dusty Claiborne, and Robert Yarbrough.
