Bettye Jo Biggs

Graveside services for Bettye Jo Biggs, 90, will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Gibsland Cemetery in Gibsland, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Greg Hunt.

Bettye was born on August 10, 1932 to Allen and Gertrude Jones in Mt. Lebanon, Louisiana and passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Bettye was a resident of Bossier City and worked at Southland Corporation as an accountant for 20 years before retiring. She loved knitting and traveling around the country with her husband in their motor home. She loved her family and was the center of many family celebrations. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Bettye is preceded in death by her husband, William F. Biggs; and son, Steven Biggs. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Vicky McKinney and husband, Mike and Keith Biggs and wife, Janice; grandchildren, Melissa Bass, Eric Lane, Jordan Brown, Danielle Cofer, Cody Biggs, Lauren Hardin, Wesley Biggs, Russell Biggs and Leslie Wilson; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
