Keithville, LA - Funeral services for Betty Jo Williams, 89, will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Keithville, 6295 Williams Rd., Keithville, Louisiana. Officiating will be Brother Mike Stowell. Interment will follow at the First Baptist Church of Keithville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until service time Saturday in the sanctuary. Betty was born September 23, 1930 in Springridge, Louisiana to Fred and Lucille May, she passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 in Shreveport passed away peacefully in her sleep. Betty, better known as Mamaw to her precious grandchildren. She was a gentle and kind woman with a hard work ethic. She had the gift of making others feel good and lifting others up. She was a stern lady with a huge heart that shared her time, love, and many gifts with her grandchild, family members and anyone that needed a helping hand. She will be truly missed by many for her faithful service as a prayer warrior who her family and friends always knew they could count on "Mrs. Betty". She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Cecil Williams; siblings, Fanny Beth Howard, Louis May, Frank May, Fred May, Jr.; and great grandson, Stetson Ray Williams ; Betty left to cherish her memory is son, Skipper Williams and wife Linda; Siblings, Ann Hawes, Johnny Mary and wife Vi; Grandchildren, Tyler and wife Brianne kids Emory, Landry, and Gentry Williams, Hannah Williams Bourg husband Justin kids, Harper, Case, and Hadley Bourg.
