Hall Summit, LA - A funeral service celebrating the life of Betty Lou Quaid, 74, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home Coushatta chapel with Brother Guy Breider officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, December 11, 2020 at the funeral home. Ms. Quaid was born on October 8, 1946 in Coushatta, LA to Lloyd and Nelwyn Gordon and passed December 8, 2020 in Coushatta, LA. She was dedicated to loving her grandchildren, loved to read, play board games and travel, committed to the Lord, and a woman of deep faith. She was a receptionist at Brentwood Hospital in Shreveport, LA. Ms. Quaid was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gerald C. Gordon. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Timothy Allen Quaid; daughters, Sherry Louise Rabun and Cathy Lynette May; sisters, Lenora F. Disotel, Janice Breider; and Carolyn Tabor; seven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring Ms. Quaid as pallbearers will be Joshua Stevens, Johnathon Stevens, Billy Quaid, Jeff Bolton, Dawson Bass and Christopher Gordon.
