Betty Pierce Jones

Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Betty Jean Pierce Jones will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. The burial will follow at Old Sparta Cemetery.

Mrs. Betty was born on March 25, 1938, in Gibsland, Louisiana to Turner and Zelma Crawley Pierce. She passed away on December 17, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana. Mrs. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, coworker, and friend. She was adored by her family and all that knew her. She was a championship bowler and loved the fellowship of her teammates. Betty was a dedicated employee. She began her career as a surgery technician for four years in New York and then transitioned to being a beautician for 27 years. She then returned to Louisiana where she went to work at the school in Castor in the lunchroom. Mrs. Betty will be missed by all those that knew her.

Preceding Betty in death are her parents, Turner and Zelma Pierce, and sister, Bennie Pierce.

Her legacy surviving her are her sons; Michael Jones and Anthony Jones, partner, Michael Winnfield, grandchildren; Tia, Jasmine, and Pecolia, great grandchildren; Tiara, Talia, London, Taysean, Tania, Cairo, Adonis, and Leilanie, brothers; Robert Pierce, Wilbert Pierce, and Bill Pierce, sister, Glennie Pierce, special niece Shaunte Williams, special nephew, Tyrell Williams, and by many other nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
