Betty Davis Mancil

Betty Davis Mancil, age 86, entered into eternal rest to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. She was born on May 24, 1940, in Waldheim, Louisiana, to the late Herbert N. Davis and Linnie Ethel Alford Davis.

A proud graduate of Arcadia High School in Arcadia, Louisiana, Betty went on to share a beautiful life of devotion with her husband, Willis R. Mancil, Sr., to whom she was happily married until his peaceful passing on April 24, 1992.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, H.N. Davis, Sr. and Linnie Alford Davis; her beloved husband, Willis Ray Mancil, Sr.; her brother, H.N. "Tinker" Davis, Jr.; and her stepson, Willis Ray Mancil, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her stepdaughter, Sonya Mancil Gasdia, and her son-in-law, Richard Gasdia.

Betty will be deeply missed, but her life and legacy will be treasured forever.
