Betty Lee Jones

Graveside services for Betty Lee Jones, age 83 will be held at Arcadia Cemetery at 10:00 a. m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022. 

Betty was born January 22,1939 on the homestead between Arcadia and Bryceland, LA. She entered into rest Sunday, August 7th at Willis Knighton Hospital in Bossier City. 

Her lifelong job was that of a caretaker. She simply loved taking care of everyone. Betty never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed fishing and working in her garden just as much as she loved listening to her music and a good cup of coffee.

She is preceded in death by her father Kennon Crowell and mother Leola Burnham Crowell; Brothers Garland “Buddy” Crowell and Bobby R. Crowell; husband Billy F. Jones and son Johnny F. Jones.

She is survived by her grandchildren Johnna Land and husband Gary, Chelsea Jones Anderson and husband Aaron Anderson, Cameron Jones and Zoey Jones, great-grandchildren Ashlyn Adkins, Sydney Land, Samantha Mays, Kaylee Anderson, Slade Anderson and Oliver LaBorde; nephews Anthony Crowell, Tim Stricklin, Michael Crowell and Rickey Crowell; nieces, Teri Crowell Cockerall, Christi Crowell Hill and Vickie Watts.

Pallbearers will be Heath Hill, Gary Land, Aaron Anderson, Tony Crowell, Mike Crowell and Tim Strickland.

The family would like to thank Betty's caregivers, Charlotte Stricklin and Chrissy Thomas.
