Betty Ann Franks

Funeral services for Betty Ann Franks, 62, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Reverend David Radford, Reverend Warren Jackson and Reverend Andrew Comeaux officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Betty was born on April 24, 1956 in Koganei, Japan and went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Murray Franks and her parents. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her daughter, Madison Thompson and husband John Tyler Thompson; grandchildren, Alexis Thompson, Nolan Thompson and Elliot Grace Thompson. Betty was a devoted member of Summer Grove Baptist Church and loved singing in the choir. She enjoyed playing the piano at The Oaks Chapel and served the Lord every way she could. Betty enjoyed being a cosmetologist for 30 plus years and also enjoyed working for Willis-Knighton for the past 10 years. Every thing she did she poured her whole heart into.
