Betty Sue Eason

Graveside services for Betty Sue Eason, 89, will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Freddie Williford.

Betty was born August 6, 1935, in Shreveport to Bolden Dobbs Wilson and Thelma Childs Wilson and passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Shreveport.

Betty was a resident of Stonewall, Louisiana and a longtime member of Pinecroft Baptist Church. She worked for many years at Hemingway’s Furniture Store before retiring. She loved her dogs and enjoyed taking care of Cinnamon, Bailey and Oreo.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth C. Eason, Sr.; son, Kenneth C. Eason, Jr.; brothers, Gordon Wilson and Royce Wilson; and sister, Bobbie Roy. Left to cherish her memory is her son, William (Billy) Eason and wife, Lisa; grandchildren Brian K. Eason and wife, Odesa, and JoDee R. Eason; and two great-grandchildren.
