Betty June Day

Betty Day, age 90, passed away in Flower Mound, TX on Sunday, March 7, 2021. She was born on June 7, 1930 and was a longtime resident of Shreveport and a member of Noel United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Day. Betty is survived by her three children, Janice Snyder McKee, Betsy Snyder Guzman, Randy Snyder; her sister, Zelda Simmons Ward; and five grandchildren. Betty was a loving Christian who graduated from Fair Park High School & Centenary Nursing School. Her 40-year nursing career included Highland Hospital and Shriners Hospital. A memorial service honoring Betty will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the pavilion at Northwest Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd., Keithville, LA. A visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, LA on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
