Betty Gilbert Branch

Celebration of the life of Betty Gilbert Branch born April 26, 1932, will be September 10, 2022, with a visitation at 10:30 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana with Andy Gilbert officiating.

Betty Gilbert Branch by faith a Methodist went to her eternal home September 2, 2022. She looked forward to being in the presence of her savior Jesus Christ and her family and friends that preceded her. She was preceded by her mother, Ellen Dismukes Gilbert and father, Horace Gilbert. Her loving husband, Thomas H. Branch, son Thomas Michael Branch, uncle and aunt, W.P. and Geraldine Roberts, sisters, Patsy Mills and Ramah Nell High, brothers, Kenneth Gilbert and Gary Gilbert. Surviving loved ones, daughter, Tina Hollowell and husband Randy, Cody Branch and Gloria Gaspar and sister Judy Gilbert Wingrove and Aunt Nell Harlan, cousins, Louise Melander, Preston Roberts, Ronnie Dismukes, Darcy Ambrose, FaLu Freeman, Hal Harlan, Lisa Farmer, Rusty Gilbert, Andy Gilbert, Kathy Elliot, Edgar Kranz, Huis Gilbert, and Paula Harrison. She was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Betty enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Home and family is where her heart was happy. Holidays, birthdays, and family reunions were her greatest joy to attend and an occasional tearoom. She loved reading, beautiful flowers in her yard and having her grandchildren for the weekends. She loved her family and wanted a no-frills celebration. She wanted you to know that she loved you and that you were hand picked to attend her life celebration by her. Her wish was that we, as a family carry on traditions and to love one another.
