Betty Jo Biondo

Funeral services for Betty Jo Biondo, 86, will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Brother Tom Brown.

Betty was born on May 22, 1936 to Homer and Estelle Jackson Sullivan in Bradley, Arkansas and passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Betty was a resident of Shreveport and retired from Brookshires. She loved to sew and could make anything. She also enjoyed growing beautiful flowers as she was blessed with a green thumb.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Sam P. Biondo; brothers, Homer Sullivan and Roy Sullivan; and sister, Marie Anweiler. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carol Anthony and Susan Jackson; sister, Evelyn Collier; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Honoring Betty as pallbearers will be John Anthony and Wesley Anthony.
