Betty Ann Alderman

Betty Ann Alderman, 77, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on November 29, 2023. She was born on May 24, 1946, to James Alderman and Louise Alderman.

A caring mother of two children, Betty earned her nursing degree later in life and spent many years as a Registered Nurse, in which she loved caring for “the old people”. She was an avid reader her entire life and loved craftwork, especially latch-hook and beads.

Betty was preceded in death by her brother, James “Jimmy” Alderman; her parents, James Alderman and Louise Alderman; and her first husband, Jay E. Rassi.

Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Regina Rassi of Bethany, Illinois; son, James “Nat” Rassi of Oakland, Florida; four grandchildren, Nicholas Rassi of Indianapolis, Indiana; Halee Wilson of Decatur, Illinois; Cody Rassi of Mahopac, New York; and Cassidy Wilson of Bethany, Illinois; and five great-grandchildren.
