Funeral services for Bertha Elizabeth Lindsey will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Tim Dye. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hall Summit, LA. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Rose-Neath Bossier. Bertha was born March 19, 1936 in Coushatta, LA to Ala Mae Adams Bonnette and Earnest Franklin Bonnette and died August 3, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melody Elaine Lindsey and grandson, Nathan Lindsey. Bertha is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Duaine Lindsey; children, Donna Alexander and husband, Clayton, Michael Lindsey and wife, Kelli, Annette Humphries and husband, Gary and Paul Lindsey and fiancée, Kathy King; siblings, Betty Skidmore, Frankie Hostedler, Carolyn Childress, Peggy Fulgum, Blanche Moore and Troy Bonnette; 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Honoring her as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
