Bernard Riley Campbell

Funeral services for Bernard Riley Campbell, 81, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Bro. Mike Stowell officiating. Interment will follow at Keithville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Rose-Neath Southside. Bernard was born July 13, 1937 in Noble, LA and went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2019. He was a lover of golf and the Lord. He loved people and following his granddaughter and all her softball teammates. He never met a stranger, especially with his visits to Walmart. Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Gladys Campbell and daughter, Laverne Campbell. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Gloria Campbell; daughter, Amber Campbell; granddaughter, Riley Duke; grandson, Braeden Duke; step grandchildren, Jackie Michelle Duke and Justin; four and a half great-grandchildren; and brothers, George Fine, Rush Fine, and Travis Campbell (Joann). Honoring Bernard as pallbearers are John Remedies, Steven Spears, Charlie Patero, Blake Vidale, Brandon Jimerson, and TJ Jimerson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Braeden Duke and Robert Duke. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Knight, Dr. Barz, Dr. Rushing, and the staff at Christus Highland.
