Benoyd Temple

Graveside services celebrating the life of Benoyd Temple, 86, will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Stanley, Louisiana. Reverend Richard Tull will be officiating.

Benoyd was born November 22, 1938 in Coushatta, Louisiana to Curtis and Minnie Temple and entered into rest May 29, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Minnie Temple; brother, Terrell Temple; and sister, Peggy Bissell.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 65 years, Ruby Temple; son, Brian Temple (Sandra); daughter, Lisa Booker (Terry) and Rhonda Murray (Randy); sisters, Billie Ruth Powell, and Vicki Osborn (Ozzie); grandchildren, Matthew Booker, Tyler Booker, Amanda Visosky (David), Chelsey Shoalmire (Brandon), Zachary Temple, and Hannah Temple; and great-grandchildren, Chance and Warren Visosky, and Vivy, Isla, and Beaux Shoalmire.
