Bennie Dean Blair

Bennie Dean Blair, age 86, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on August 28, 2025. He was born on September 24, 1938, in Oklahoma to George “Buck” Blair and Joyce Blair.

Bennie earned his bachelor’s degree from Central Oklahoma and dedicated 38 years of service to AT&T before retiring. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time on the course and cruising around the Caribbean with his wife, Barbara.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Terry Blair. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 69 years, Barbara Blair; daughter, Sherry Christian and husband Michael; son, Cary Blair and wife Kelli; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service honoring Bennie’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109.
