Memorial services for Benni Ruth Scott, age 64 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Ida Methodist Church, 6874 Cedar Lane, Ida, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Means, assisted by Rev. Lafayette Means.
Benni was born on May 2, 1954 in Shreveport, LA to Ben E Taylor and Patsy Pryor Taylor and passed away on October 22, 2018 at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. She attended the Ida Methodist Church and was a member of TOPS.
Benni is preceded in death by her father, Ben. E. Taylor and is survived by her mother, Patsy P. Taylor; two sons, Larry P. Weems and wife, Windy and Les Chamblee and wife, Shanna; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Benni is also survived by two brothers, Rick Taylor and Ted Taylor.
