Benjamin Joseph Knous

Benjamin Joseph Knous, 89, of Shreveport, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on August 29, 2023. He was born on November 10, 1933, in Houston, Texas to Benjamin Burt Knous and Myrtle Evelyn Tibbs Knous.

A memorial service honoring the life of Benjamin will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023, located at North DeSoto Church of Christ, 2071 US-171, Stonewall, LA 71078. Officiating the service will be Preacher Joseph Lachausse.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Myrtle Knous; brothers, Buddy Ray Knous, Burtram Thomas Knous, and David Knous; sisters, Edith Rushing, Virginia Richardson, and Mary Burson; grandson, Nicholas Pitre; and son-in-law, Randy J Chiasson. Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Janice Knous; daughters, Debbie Spies and husband Jimmie, Robin Pitre and husband David, and Connie Chiasson; sister, Wanda Boyd; grandchildren, Brandon Chiasson and wife Stephanie, Matthew Chiasson and wife Megan, and KayLee Chiasson McMullen and husband Michael; great-grandchildren, Devin, Ayden, Avery, Kyra, Ava, Natalie, Titus, and Cari.
