A mass of Christian Burial for Belton (Bodily) Andrews, Jr. will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 121 S. Preston St. in Marksville on Friday, June 9, 2023 with Father Abraham Varghese officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery in Marksville.

Belton (Bodily) Andrews, Jr., age 69, entered into rest on June 4, 2023. He was born on March 8, 1954 to Belton Andrews, Sr. and Velma Lewis-Andrews. Mr. Belton worked for Dollar General for several years and served a dedicated career with the Marksville Fire Department from 1984 to 2014.

Belton was preceded in death by his parents, Belton Andrews, Sr. and Velma Lewis-Andrews; and sister, Connie Marie Andrews.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Jane Andrews, Susan Martin-Andrews, and Barbara Ann Andrews, all of Marksville; brothers, Ronald Andrews of Marksville, and Michael Jimmy Andrews of Marksville and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Marksville Fire Department has been chosen to act as pallbearers.

A visitation for Belton (Bodily) Andrews, Jr. will he held on Friday morning, June 9, 2023 in the chapel of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 334 Acton Road in Marksville from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
