Becky Ann Wagner Mason Bates

Grand Cane, LA - A graveside service celebrating the life of Becky Ann Wagner Mason Bates, 89, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Grand Cane Cemetery in Grand Cane, LA with Bro. Chad Hardbarger officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Mansfield. 

Becky was born on February 21, 1935, in Mansfield, LA to Wallace and Helen Hales Wagner and passed away September 29, 2024, in Mansfield, Louisiana. She was a very intelligent business lady who loved to travel.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, first husband James Mason and sister Wallis Raye Chaney. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Don Bates; son Jim Mason (Kathey); daughter Jan Nichols (Parry); grandchildren Vanessa Bailey (Robert), Mindy Shaw, Tiffany Terrell (troy), and Kayce Jones (Jacob); and 13 great-grandchildren.

Honoring Becky as pallbearers will be Evan G. Killough, Jon-Ashton Killough, Eli James Shaw, Cody Robbins, Chase Collier, and Tyler Collier.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Shawn Reynolds, Charlie Adams, Jason Richardson, Bryce, Denny, Terrell Tate, and Rusty Bates.
