Becky Lou Rainey Baker

Graveside services for Becky Lou Rainey Baker, 72, will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. before the start of the service at 12:30 p.m. at Centuries.

Becky was born on April 16, 1950 to Malcom Elwood Rainey and Prudy Lorene Hinton Rainey in Atlanta, Texas and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

Becky was a resident of Bossier City and retired from LSUS as an accounts payable specialist.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 38 years, George Allen Baker; sister, Mary Hinton; brother, Malcom Rainey, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Florence Mae Squire. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Erika Rawls (Brian); granddaughters, Racheal Squire (Mark), Haley Wise (Tristan) and Shelby Hartley and fiance’, Joshua; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Mercer, Declan and Jensen; several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Gerardo San Pedro, Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Khalid Baosman, Internal Medicine, Dr. Arnold Barz, Nephrologist, and Hand in Hand Hospice (Stacia) for their kindness and wonderful care.
