Becca Chandler Cullins

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Chandler Cullins, age 69, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1680 1st Street, Arcadia, LA, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery near Mt. Lebanon, LA. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Arcadia from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service.

Becky was born February 16, 1957, in Arcadia, LA, to John C. and Sadie Shaffer Chandler. She entered into rest on September 8, 2026, in Athens, LA. Becky was the youngest of six children in the Chandler household. She grew-up with her nieces and nephews playing in the yard picking up nightcrawlers, lighting bugs and an occasional snake. Becky liked to go stay with her sister in Ocean Spring, MS, during the summer where she spent time on the beach. She worked and retired from the Claiborne Parish Sheriff’s Office as a Civil Deputy. She will be greatly missed in her family and community.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald Chandler and Randy Chandler; and a sister, Patsy Strickland.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, J.D. “Sonny” Cullins; son, Patrick Christopher Cullins of Ruston, LA; daughter, Melissa Moore and husband Jeff of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Peggy Hughes and husband James of Taylor, LA; brother, Larry Chandler and wife Debbie of Tonganoxie, KS; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Claiborne Parish Sheriff employees.
