Funeral services for Barbara Shepherd will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Jerry Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Barbara was born March 7, 1944 in Epps, Louisiana and entered into rest December 3, 2017 in Sibley, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Shepherd.
She is survived by her son, Gregg Shepherd and wife Stacy of Sibley, daughter, Tammy Klick of Minden, sisters, Laverne Tomlinson of Haynesville and Faye Williams of West Monroe, brother, Marvin Auttonberry of Homer, grandchildren, Chase Shepherd, Manda and Daniel Hill, Ashley and Luke Stricklin, and Kaley and Ryan Guillet and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kannon, Fallon, Jarrett, Baylee, James Ayden, Eason, Colston, and Carter.
