Barbara Ann "Gal" Clifford, 88, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Fred Allen Beard will be officiating.
Gal was born on January 31, 1933 in LeCompte, Louisiana to Edward and Barbara Beard Babb. In 1952 she married the love of her life, Charles Clifford. Together they had two children, Kim and Charles. Gal loved to travel, whether in the United States or Europe, her bags were always packed and ready to go. Her favorite traveling partners were her daughter, Kim and granddaughter, Sommer. When not traveling, you might find Gal fishing or spending time with her family.
Gal is preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Hot, Jewbaby and Kent; sister, Teet; and grandson, Matt Nichols. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Nichols and husband, David; son, Charles K. Clifford and wife, Suzanne; grandchildren, Sommer Nichols Carpenter and husband, Russ, Tildsley Clifford, and Crimens Clifford; and two great- grandsons: three nieces Becky, Pam, and Annette.
Honoring Gal as pallbearers will be John Savoy, Ricky Davidson, Jeffery Beauboef, Ronald Babb, and Jim Beard.
