Audrey was born on March 9, 1943, to Auvie Cranford “A.C.” Watkins and Georgia Lea Watkins in Monroeville, Alabama, and passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Audrey, also known as “Grandma or Grandmolly,” was a high school graduate who built a life grounded in devotion, hard work, and quiet joy. She married John L. Stolp on August 18, 1962, and together they shared 44 years of marriage until his passing in 2006. On September 4, 2011, she remarried Lorrie Tingle, and they were blessed with nine years together before his death in 2020. Audrey worked for Brookshire’s as an office cashier for 32 years, retiring in 2002. She approached her work with dedication and kindness, earning the respect of coworkers and customers alike.

Outside of work, Audrey found joy in simple, meaningful things. She loved gardening and spent many peaceful hours tending to her plants. She enjoyed watching old western movies and game shows, but her greatest comfort came from reading God’s word. Audrey was known for her beautiful blue eyes and sweet smile, both reflections of the gentle spirit she carried throughout her life. Her warmth, faith, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, A.C. Watkins and Georgia Lea Watkins; her brothers, Bobby Wayne Watkins and Albert Watkins; her sister, Gwen Frazier; and her husbands, John L. Stolp (2006) and Lorrie Tingle (2020).

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tina Stolp of Haughton, Louisiana, and Kristy Friday and husband, Sam of Bossier City, Louisiana; her step‑daughters, Doris Bartlett, Christy Smith, and Leslie McCauslin; her step‑son, Randy Tingle; her grandchildren, Casey Vining and husband, Daniel, Colt Friday, and Tanya Green and husband, Wes; and her great‑grandchildren, Cheyenne, Abigail, Luke, and Nolan. She is also survived by her brother, Jimmie Watkins, and wife, Glenda of Brandon, Mississippi; her sister, Wanda Clifton of Ringgold, Louisiana; along with three nephews and seven nieces.

Honoring Audrey as pallbearers are Joseph “Boots” Clifton II, Andrew Langley, Sammy Guy Colt Friday, Daniel Vining, and Joseph “Boots” Clifton.
