Arthur "Gary" Alexander

Funeral services honoring the life of Arthur "Gary" Alexander will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Chris Charles. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Forest Park Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Gary Alexander was born July 25, 1956 in Laurel, Mississippi to Margarete Dickey Alexander and William Guy Alexander and passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glen Alexander. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Carla Janene Alexander; daughters, Andrea Galen Alexander and Amber Glen Alexander and grandchildren, Ashlyn Grace, Aidan Glen, Alexandra Gabrielle, Ashton Gray and Abram Guy. Honoring Gary as pallbearers will be Butch Cutsinger, Gregory Duval, Garry Headrick, Nathan Loggins, John Loggins, Clint Paul, Jimmy "Red" Ramsay, and Jason Warke. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Kelley, and Jimmie Dickey. Gary was a life-long oilfield man who loved all of his coworkers and considered everyone he encountered as his family. The family would like to thank all of his work family, and friends for their continued love and support.
