Arnum Orban "Harvey" Coonce

BLANCHARD, LA - Arnum Orban "Harvey" Coonce, 75, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Born May 30, 1941 in Birds, IL, Harvey was a lifelong resident of Blanchard, LA. A retired MSGT of the US Air Force, Harvey's loves included his family and friends, football and horse racing, his beloved dachshund, Rowdy, and sitting on his back porch enjoying his mornings. Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra, who we are certain, will be greeting him with arms folded and foot tapping asking him why it took him so long. He is survived by his children, Michael and Beth Kimsey, Scott and Jackie Kimsey, Pam Coonce, Tracy Coonce and Corey Veazey; sister, Kay Rigg; brother, Dale Coonce, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Willis Knighton North for all their care and efforts. The family would also like to thank Dr. Tommy Brown for the many years he kept Harvey's heart going, as well as family friends, Mr. Bill Andrews and Joe and Frances Jones for the care and friendship they gave to Harvey over the years. In lieu of flowers or cards, the family request donations be made to a veterans' charity of your choice.
