Armond Joseph Scioneaux, III

Graveside services honoring the life of Armond Joseph "Joey" Scioneaux, III will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Forest Park Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Ave, Shreveport, Louisiana. Services will be officiated by Pastor Josh Beshea of Minden Baptist Church. A visitation with the family will be held at 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. Armond Joseph "Joey" Scioneaux, III was born December 16, 1958 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Armond Joseph Scioneaux, Jr. and Eula Cason Whitten and passed away peacefully on Thurday, November 14, 2019 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Joey was a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He spent a number of years as a licensed funeral director and embalmer for the state of Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Jami Murphy Hairston. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Eula Whitten and husband, William; son, Paul Scioneaux and wife, Veronica; daughter, Melissa Scioneaux; sister, Karen Pharr Tharpe and husband, Roger; brothers, Kenny Pharr and wife, Kaye and Jerry Pharr and wife, Diane; five grandchildren, Ethan, Liam and Nevaeh Scioneaux, Raylee Thomas and Austin McConnell and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
