Funeral services honoring the life of Anne Arlene Smith will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Chucky Clark. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday prior to service. Interment will be held at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. Arlene was born on January 16, 1938 in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to Stacy Washington Anderson and Ettie Lou Harper. She entered into eternal rest on August 8, 2021 in Converse, Louisiana. Arlene is preceded by her parents, Stacey and Ettie Anderson; her husband of 42 years, Charles "Nub" Smith; along with 12 siblings. She is survived by her children, Donisa Page and husband, Paul of Slidell, LA, Belinda Scrantz and husband Kevin of Breaux Bridge, LA, Don French and wife Angie of Rockwall, TX Tommy Dill and wife Pam of Hot Springs, AR, Richard Smith and wife Delila of Converse, LA, Steve Smith of Ivey, GA; and her sister, Helen Roberts of Houston, TX; along with 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Honoring Arlene as pallbearers will be Cody Smith, Hunter Smith, Bruce Smith, Donald Page, Wyatt French, and Anthony Hilton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Paul Wilson and Wayne Carter.
