Annie C. Wyble

Many, LA- Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Catherine (Granny) Wyble will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Siloam Baptist Church in Many, LA. Interment to follow at Siloam Cemetery. Visitation for her will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the church.   Catherine was born on February 16, 1926 in Citronelle, Alabama to Boyd and Alma Miller and passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at her residence in Many, Louisiana. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. She moved to Many in 1966 where she went to work at Piggly Wiggly as a cashier and later became manager of the video department. She remained employed at Piggly Wiggly for 30 years. Next, Catherine joined the team at Big Star as both cashier and office personnel for the next 20 years. She loved working both jobs and loved her co-workers and customers dearly. Catherine would refer to her co-workers as family.   She is survived by her three daughters: Patricia List and husband, John of Many, LA; Linda Sue Jones and husband, Jonah of Mt. Vernon, AL; Betty Odom and her late husband, Benny of Citronelle, AL; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; nineteen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.   Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Alma Miller; husband's, Joseph G. Wyble and Howard E. Williams; brothers, Boyd Miller, Jr., Artis Miller, Otis Miller, Carl Bluett Miller; sisters, Marie Hitt, Alma Elizabeth Ellerby, and Mary Magdalene Miller.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to them to be used for Granny's favorite charities.
