Bossier City, LA Services for Annie Jean Basinger Robinette, 90, will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, at the Rose-Neath Funeral on Airline Dr., Bossier City at 1:00p.m. Visitation will be held March 29th from 11:30a.m. until 12:30p.m.at Rose-Neath Funeral Home prior to funeral. There will be no graveside service. She will buried next to her husband Dallas C Robinette at Forest Park West Cemetery. Annie Jean Basinger Robinette was born in Castor, LA on July 20, 1928. She passed away Saturday, March 23, 2018. She graduated from Castor High School on May 21, 1946. She married her high school sweetheart, Dallas Cleveland Robinette on April 2, 1946 immediately following his release from service. They were married for 62 years. She was preceded in death by her father Daniel Love Basinger and mother Nancy P Rigdon Basinger of Castor, La and husband Dallas C Robinette, son-in-law JD Harris, Jr., son-in-law James M Patrick and step grandson James M Patrick, Jr. She was the youngest sibling daughter of sisters Nellie Guin, ST Smith, Gladys Dawsey, Merior Sullivan, and brother William E Basinger. She was the loving and compassionate mother to her two surviving daughters Betty C Grimes of Blairsville, Ga and Wanda Gayle Patrick of Bossier City, La.; three grandchildren, Christopher Thomas of Sherwood, Ar., Susan Boring of Ramstein AFB, Frankfurt ,Germany and John Michael Harris of Hollie Springs, NC; step grandchild Elizabeth Hope of Dallas, Ga. She is survived by great grandchildren Caitlyn Harris, Emily Boring, Jackson Hope, Juniper Dallas Harris, Trevor Braham, Thomas Braham, Paige Owens, Trent Owens and Daniell Owens. She was survived by son-in-law Bill Grimes. Grandchildren by marriage Joy Thomas, Russell Boring, and Elizabeth Harris, and he was survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Brookwood Baptist. She was a homemaker all her life and a wonderful cook. The presiding minister will be Dr. Larry Williams of Broadmoor Baptist Church. I would like to thank Christus Highland Hospital, Garden Court, Willis Knighton Bossier and Riverview Care Center and Lifepath Hospice Care
