Annie O’Neal Crawley

Mrs. Annie (Ann) O’Neal Crawley died Sunday, August 21, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born June 14, 1927, in Winnsboro, Louisiana to Dewey and Gladys Bradley. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Bettye Sutton, and her husband of 35 years, Curtis.
After graduating from Crowville High School, she became an LVN for Rogers Medical Clinic in Winnsboro. Soon after, she met her future husband Curtis Crawley and was married on July 10, 1947.
Originally, Annie and Curtis made their home in Winnsboro, later moving to Bossier City, Louisiana, and then Dallas, Texas, where she worked for the cosmetic department of a regional drug store.
In 1989, after the passing of Curtis in 1982, Annie retired and moved back to Bossier City where she was a faithful member of the Eastwood Baptist Church. Always well dressed with matching jewelry, she was active in church functions and volunteered for visitations and the church office until recent years.
She is survived by family including a sister Johnnie Richardson of Bossier City, Louisiana, children Brenda Kay Jones (Larry) of Haughton, Louisiana, Gloria Jean Mason of Arlington, Texas, Dewey Richard Crawley of West Jordan, Utah, Beth Ellen Foster (Dave) of Ferris, Texas, grandchildren Christopher Jones, Kim Martin (Bruce), Curtis Crawley (Jennifer), Angel Listul (Dale), Ben Mason, Shelby Foster, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, Louisiana. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Harris Cemetery in Swampers, Louisiana. Rev. James Lee Busby officiating. Pallbearers are Christopher Jones, Curtis Crawley, Ben Mason, Dave Foster, Bruce Martin, and Braydon Jones.
The family requests memorials be made to the Eastwood Baptist Church (2810 US-80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037).
