Annie Beatrice "Bea" Trant

Funeral services for Annie Beatrice "Bea" Trant, 90, will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road. A visitation will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside. Officiating the service will be Reverend Donna Gray and Reverend Dean Register. Bea was born on March 28, 1930 to Jesse Cobb and Oma Elizabeth Flowers Cobb in Gilbert, Louisiana and passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Bea was a resident of Keatchie, Louisiana and worked as a nurse for Dr. Leopard before retiring. She was also the owner of Keatchie Grocery Store for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roy Oliver and second husband, Ben Trant; and brothers, Buddy Cobb, Hardy Cobb, and Junior Cobb. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Libby Cook; grandsons, Michael Cook and wife, Tiffany, Matthew Cook and wife, Rachel Poland; great-grandchildren, Austin Cook, Kobe Cook, Raven Ellsworth, Ashton Martin, Addison Martin, Jackson Cook, Emily Gallman, and Matthew Gallman; and three great-great-grandchildren, Corbin Heckman, Tyler Heckman, and Mia Heckman. Honoring Bea as pallbearers will be Michael Cook, Jr., Matthew Cook, Austin Cook, Kobe Cook, Ashton Martin, and Tommy Carpenter. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Cook, Mike Emfinger, Michael Cook, Sr., Ben Wells, and Bill Gray.
