HOMER, LA: A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Anne Robinson Edmonds, 97, at Arlington Cemetery of Homer, LA, on Friday, December 7, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Danny Baskin, officiating. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer, LA, Thursday, December 6, 2018, from 5-7 P.M. Mrs. Edmonds was born July 7, 1921, in Homer, LA, to John M. and Norine Sale Robinson. She entered into rest on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, in Homer, LA. Mrs. Edmonds lived most of her life in the same house she was born in in Homer. She collected demitasse cups and used them to visit and drink coffee with friends. Mrs. Edmonds was employed by the Claiborne Parish Sheriff Office in the tax collecting department as a deputy. She graduated from Centenary College with a Bachelor's Degree. Mrs. Edmond loved to travel and throughout the United States. Some of the places over the years she visited were New York, NY, the Great Lakes and Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. L. Edmonds, Sr.; son J. L. Edmonds, Jr.; and a sister, Thelma Worley. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Crump of Haynesville, LA; five grandchildren, Tommy, Jerry, Pat, Cindy, and Karen; ten great-grandchildren; a few great, great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers honoring Mrs. Edmonds, her family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Homer, LA.
