Ann Victoria Harris

Ann Victoria Doggett Harris died November 8, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor Doggett, Grace Hardy, and John Hardy; brother, Brian Doggett; ex-husband, J.C. Harris; and numerous aunts and uncles. Ann is survived by her sons, Terry L. Harris and Steve Harris. Ann was born in Cambridge, England in 1939. Her ashes will go back to Cambridge. Ann married a service man, Julious Harris, when she was 21. This enabled her to travel. She was an animal lover from a young age and animal advocate. She loved cooking at Christmas for friends and family. She enjoyed going to the seasides. In 2021 Ann wrote a book, "The Steel Caskets on Madingley Hill." She was a fighter and survivor in life. In lieu of flowers, please choose an animal charity of your choice and make a small donation. Ann will be cremated and a Wake will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
