Ann G Taylor

Memorial Services for Ann Taylor, 79, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Rich Varner officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Ann was born in Shreveport, LA on May 6, 1939 to Henry C. Gillen and Letha Chapman Gillen and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 7, 2018. She was a teacher for North Desoto Schools for over 25 years. Ann was a longtime member of Keithville United Methodist Church. Her favorite past times were cooking, watching the Texas Rangers and spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. Ann was preceded by her parents and grandson, Casey Taylor. Left to cherish her memories are her beloved husband of 24 years, George W. Taylor; sons, George W. Taylor, Jr. (Jean), Darrell L. Taylor (Susan) and Jeffrey H. Taylor (Darlene); daughter, Claire Vinson Bellott; sisters, Blanche E. Wonderly (Bob); brother, James A. Gillen (Claire), six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous other family members. Special thanks to family, friends and the staff at the Guest House, Willis Knighton, and Life Care Pierremont. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts maybe made to Keithville United Methodist Church, and the Alzheimer's Foundation or the charity of your choice.
