Ann passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, May 27, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on January 3, 1945, at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana. She traveled a lot in her youth with her family because her father was in the Air Force, and they settled in Bossier City when she was an adult. She worked as a legal secretary for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for 27 years. Ann was a kind and generous soul that greeted all with a smile and a warm welcome. One of her favorite things to do was traveling with her husband and enjoyed wherever the road took them. She enjoyed her gardens and flowers, especially her roses. She also enjoyed watching and feeding her hummingbirds. Ann was proud of her family and very loving. She will never be forgotten because she left us with so much to remember.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, James Ferrel Bonner and Cleo Jewel Williford Bonner. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael Daley; children, Sherry Sanders and husband, Tom of Greenwood, Louisiana, Robert Fuller and wife, LaShonna of Cibolo, Texas, Gregory Fuller of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Gina Mealey of San Antonio, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; sister, Sue Nabors and husband, Ray of San Angelo, Texas; brother, Jim Bonner and wife Elaine of Rowlett, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Honoring Ann as pallbearers will be Luke Sanders, Mike Shannon, Mudit Chhajed, Wes Williams, Justin Essary, and Robert Page.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made at the American Cancer Society, https://donate.cancer.org.
