Anita M. Baten

Graveside services for Anita M. Baten, 89, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Forest Park West Cemetery with Pastor Roger Patterson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel prior to the graveside service. Anita was born October 27, 1929 in Munich, Germany and went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. She was a lifelong member and very involved with Life Tabernacle. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Babette Hechtl; husband, Robert F. Baten; brother, Christian Hechtl; and sister, Tinka Hann. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert Steve Baten and wife Doris and John Michael Baten and wife Natalie and grandchildren, John Michael, Jr., Anna Brooke, Alden, and Haden. Honoring Anita as pallbearers will be John Michael Baten, Roger Baten, Fenely Smith, Dale Teutsch, Joey Caul, and Zack Yano. The family would like to give a special thanks to Linda McCullough, Amanda Bahm Liles, and Nelda Wilkerson for their support.
