Angela Faye "Angie" Jagneaux Chapman

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Angela Faye Jagneaux Chapman will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 124 Fellowship Circle, Converse, Louisiana with Lucas Jagneaux officiating.

Born October 8, 1963, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Angie was many things to many people – a daughter, sister, aunt, friend – but above all else, she was a proud and devoted mother. If you had asked her what her greatest accomplishments in life were, she’d have told you without hesitation, her two sons, Chase and Connor Zittrauer.

Angie was preceded in death by her daddy, James Jagneaux.

She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory, her mother, Linda F. Craig Jagneaux; her brothers, Jeff Jagneaux and wife Renee, and Kirk Jagneaux and wife Jennifer all of Converse; as well as a whole host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends who will miss her fiercely.

Throughout most of her career, Angie worked as a administrative assistant. But her heart led her to work with special needs children in the later years of her professional life – a role she filled with grace, compassion, and patience.

Angie had a love for the little things that made life sweet. She looked forward to a fun game of Cadillac with the family on holidays. She enjoyed a day spent in Natchitoches with her mother eating lunch and then hitting all of the antique shops along the Riverfront. She loved music (Matchbox 20 & Rob Thomas), true crime, pink roses and the perfect red lipstick.

But if there was one thing that truly defined her life, it was her love for Chase and Connor. She was so proud to be their mom – it was her greatest joy, and she never let anyone forget it.

Angie will be greatly missed by her family and friends alike.

In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Angie’s heart and compassion, the family asks that donations be made to The Innocence Project, a nonprofit organization working to free the innocent. You can donate at: https;//innocenceproject.org/ways-to-give/
