Amos Joseph Edwards

A memorial service for Mr. Amos Joseph Edwards will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, located at 334 Acton Road in Marksville.

Mr. Amos Joseph Edwards, age 83, of Mansura, entered into rest on August 8, 2023, in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was born in Opelousas, Louisiana, to Houston and Regina Edwards.

Mr. Amos was preceded in death by his parents, Houston Edwards, and Regina Latigue Edwards; one son, Gabriel Anthony Edwards; eight brothers and four sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, Joyce Batiste Edwards of Spring Valley, CA; one daughter, Christal Joy Riggs of Spring Valley, CA.; Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
